You Are Welcome at InterSystems

What’s important at InterSystems is how you look at challenges. We value a range of perspectives and backgrounds that shape our culture of excellence and innovation. And we’re committed to a work environment that creates a level playing field for all.

Excellence, Not Exclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion isn’t a one-time event or initiative at InterSystems. It is something we practice every day -- a continuous process of listening, learning, and improving. Principles of equality and inclusion are embedded into every aspect of our work, from hiring and training to product development and customer service.

You Belong Here

InterSystems is a community of excellence, respect, and tolerance. We respect what everyone has to offer. Employee support groups provide networking and mentorship opportunities to help everyone fit in, contribute their best ideas, and advance their careers. Below are two examples of InterSystems employee resource groups, with more on the way.

  • SHE, an Employee Resource Group, helps leverage the full potential of women at InterSystems.
  • EASE, an Employee Resource Group, helps support employees experiencing physical, mental, or emotional conditions that limit their movements, senses, or activities.

Supporting Diverse Communities

We foster a workplace where everyone can see themselves fitting in and thriving. Our long-term goals aim to increase diversity and ensure that everyone is heard and valued.

  • Belonging and Inclusion
We are growing the number of employee support groups to improve engagement, retention, and advancement of employees in underrepresented communities.
  • Leadership
We’re developing a worldwide academy for employees who will become our future leaders, stressing the importance of diversity in hiring and improving retention of underrepresented groups.
  • Learning and Education
Specific, mandatory training streams for all employees will help everyone understand the importance of diversity and inclusion, and how to put it into practice.
  • Internal Communications
Our internal online newsletter regularly features diversity and inclusion content, helping everyone feel valued as part of the InterSystems community.
Michelle Stolwyk, Director of Development
