Faster, simplified, and more personalized access to unified data platform empowers organizations to accelerate development of data-driven applications
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-October 1, 2019- InterSystems, a global leader in information technology platforms for health, business, and government applications, today announced the availability of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform™ and InterSystems IRIS for Health™ Data Platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace for hourly and annual purchase. Developers, architects, and engineers can now purchase directly from AWS Marketplace in multiple deployment regions to meet their specific business needs and scale requirements, accelerating deployment and adoption of InterSystems’ unified data platforms.
InterSystems is also announcing support for Seller Private Offers on AWS Marketplace. Through the Seller Private Offers, InterSystems can extend specific pricing and contract terms to enterprise customers. InterSystems IRIS Data Platform is delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that is deployed within a customer’s Virtual Privacy Cloud (VPC) resulting in AWS customers being able to apply associated infrastructure costs towards AWS spend commitments made through Private Purchase Agreements. Further, procurement of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform through AWS Marketplace allows AWS customers to apply a portion of software costs towards their AWS spend commitments. This can streamline time-consuming contractual processes, accelerating the development and deployment of IRIS-powered applications on AWS.
“We’re excited to see InterSystems technology readily available for purchase on AWS Marketplace,” said Matthew Garvey, vice president of Emerging Markets at B3 Group, Inc. “We assist in technology acquisition support for federal agencies, including the VA, who is a user of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform. This new availability on AWS Marketplace provides us with new options, while accelerating procurement and project speeds.”
“As organizations continue to implement DevOps strategies to help power digital transformation initiatives, they are becoming more reliant on cloud-based applications and data-driven insights to advance internal processes and more quickly respond to external market changes,” said Scott Gnau, vice president of Data Platforms at InterSystems. “Modern enterprises rely on agile and reliable data management solutions to help power these digital transformations. The enhanced accessibility to the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform through AWS Marketplace allows our customers to accelerate procurement, development, and deployment of new applications required to compete in today’s digital economy.”
