Advisory: Users Unable to Log in After Upgrade Due to Missing Index

This problem affects the following products:

  • HealthShare Unified Care Record:  2021.2, 2022.1, 2022.2, 2023.1

In version 2021.2 of Unified Care Record, a new property was added to the user/clinician registry. After upgrading to an affected version, users may be unable to log into the system post-upgrade due to a missing index on the new property. A manual re-indexing step was added to the upgrade instructions for those versions after-the-fact.

The defect has been corrected in version 2023.2, and the relevant indices are now automatically rebuilt as part of the upgrade process.

For customers upgrading to an affected version of HealthShare, the workaround is to manually rebuild the indices after the Registry upgrade is complete by running the following command in terminal in the Registry namespace:

set status=##class(HS.Registry.Person.UserLoginID).%BuildIndices()
