Today, we announced that as part of the 2024 Best in KLAS Awards: Global Software InterSystems HealthShare Unified Care Record has been named the regional winner in the Shared Care Records/Health Information Exchange category in Europe. This is the 11^thconsecutive year that InterSystems has been recognized in the Best in KLAS report, which is based on extensive feedback and evaluations from healthcare professionals.

The award highlights how HealthShare excels in improving patient care by providing a customizable and comprehensive solution for healthcare providers navigating an exponential increase in data. Interoperability between distributed organizations can reduce errors caused by fragmented care or incomplete health records. This disruptive environment requires a more holistic view of the supply chain — one that leverages predictive and prescriptive insights, addresses risk across 40,000+ touchpoints, and captures millions to billions of data points to create a “risk chain.”

Certification renews InterSystems long-standing commitment to cybersecurity practices and standards through protecting sensitive systems and data of individually identifiable health information.

The report evaluated top enterprise data fabric providers based on 26 stringent criteria related to their current offering, strategy, and market presence. Based on these criteria, InterSystems received the highest score in the strategy category among the Strong Performers.

This integration will make it easier to create apps that use generative AI to complete complex tasks for a wide range of use cases and deliver up-to-date responses based on proprietary data processed by InterSystems.

I’m excited to announce that InterSystems is adding a new feature to the HealthShare Patient Index to provide our customers with additional insight and accuracy when matching their patients’ health records. Our enhanced InterSystems Referential Patient Matching Service will now be powered by LexisNexis® LexID® from LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, giving our customers better visibility into patient records while accounting for common errors and deviations that may exist.

Accurate, trusted data is imperative for informed decision-making in the healthcare industry, given the difference that it can make with accuracy in patient outcomes. Hospitals produce approximately 37 terabytes of data per day, more than twice the amount of data stored in the Library of Congress, according to HealthTechMagazine. This volume of data creates challenges for health systems to vet all the data for accuracy and relevancy.
