A McKinsey study of the 2008 financial crisis found that the most resilient companies had prepared in advance and responded effectively during the crisis. So too, advance investment in health information infrastructure helps to ensure responsiveness during times of crisis, and resilience to recover when the crisis passes. We’ll explore several case studies illustrating the power of health information infrastructure to address not just the pandemic, but natural disaster and clinical transformation.
