Dr Murray Ellender, CEO, Co-Founder

Murray is a co-founder of eConsult and has been CEO since 2015. Prior to that, he worked full-time as a GP Partner in the Hurley Group, one of the first NHS super-partnerships. He has been a doctor for 21 years and continues to practice part-time as a GP in South East London. He is also a mentor on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme.
Brian McBride, Chair at Trainline plc & Lead Non-Executive Director Board Member at the UK Ministry of Defence
Brian McBride is Chair at Trainline plc. He is Lead Non-Executive Director on the Board of the UK’s Ministry of Defence, a UK Government appointment and he is also a Senior Adviser with Scottish Equity Partners.
Brian stepped down as President of the CBI in February 2024. He was Chairman of ASOS from 2012 to 2018. He was CEO of Amazon.co.uk from 2006 to 2011. He held senior roles at IBM in USA and UK, Dell Computers and as Managing Director of T-Mobile (UK). He has been a Non-Executive Director of Celtic Football Club PLC, SThree PLC, Computacenter PLC, AO.com, Kinnevik AB, Abrdn PLC and has served as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the BBC, a member of the UK Government Digital Advisory Board, and a Senior Adviser to Lazard’s Global Financial Advisory business.


Simon Baxter, Principal Analyst, TechMarketView

Simon joined TechMarketView in March 2022 as a Principal Analyst across the TechSectorViews and PublicSectorViews research streams.
With over 12 years of experience in research and analysis, Simon has covered various emerging tech areas, including AI, Quantum computing, IoT, and Operational Technology (OT).
Immediately prior to joining TechMarketView Simon held the position of Senior Market Intelligence Manager at Fujitsu Services Ltd. and was responsible for embedding market insight into Fujitsu’s decision making and leading a range of market research programmes across Fujitsu’s global business encompassing Europe, North America and Japan.
Scott Gnau, Global Head of Data Platforms

Scott Gnau joined InterSystems in 2019 as Global Head of Data Platforms, overseeing the development, management, and sales of the InterSystems IRIS® family of data platforms.
Gnau brings more than 30 years of experience in the data management space helping lead technology and data architecture initiatives for enterprise-level organizations. He joins InterSystems from HortonWorks, where he served as chief technology officer. Prior to Hortonworks, Gnau spent two decades at Teradata in increasingly senior roles, including serving as president of Teradata Labs.


John Paladino, Global Head of Client Success

John Paladino directs the activities of the Product Support (Worldwide Response Center), product quality assurance, corporate IT, customer education groups, and cloud services – all globally. Since joining InterSystems in 1985, he has been instrumental in developing services that continue to improve client experiences and employee enablement. John’s efforts have resulted in award-winning customer service described by market analysts as being in “rarified air.”
He came to InterSystems after a three-year stint at a clinical reference laboratory startup, which was also an InterSystems customer, where he was responsible for acquiring, implementing, and managing a variety of information technologies. John studied Electric Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where his interest in software took off, starting with computer chip programming.
Colin Henderson, UK & Ireland Country Manager
InterSystems
Colin Henderson is the Country Manager for InterSystems' UK and Ireland offices. Appointed in March 2024, Colin brings over two decades of industry leadership experience to his role. Before joining InterSystems, he served as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Dedalus Group. His career also includes significant leadership positions at DXC Technology, Orion Health, and IBM Global Services, spanning regions such as the UK, Ireland, Israel, the Middle East, and Africa.
At InterSystems, Colin is focused on driving customer-centric growth and expanding the company's cloud-first products and services. He is passionate about leveraging data technology to improve decision-making across various sectors, including healthcare, financial services, government, manufacturing, and logistics.


Benjamin De Boe, Product Management Manager
InterSystems
Benjamin De Boe is a product manager in the data platforms group at InterSystems, focused on scalability and analytics. He joined InterSystems in 2010 as part of the iKnow acquisition and has worked with various database technologies, mostly in the areas of data warehousing, natural language processing and anything analytics. His prior experience includes positions as a sales engineer and consultant at Oracle, specializing in business intelligence and data warehousing. De Boe has a Master of Science degree in engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
Saurav Gupta, Data Platforms Sales Engineer Team Lead
InterSystems
Saurav brings over 25 years of IT experience in the data management space and is very passionate about helping organisations solve complex data, interoperability, and analytics challenges.
Saurav joined InterSystems in 2006 and has been working in Pre-Sales and Solutions Architect roles with experience in technology and solution sales, enterprise application integration, data warehousing, business intelligence and software development. His key responsibilities include recommending technical architecture, solution design, migration, upgrade strategies, and operational best practices to InterSystems Customers.
Prior to joining InterSystems, Saurav use to work for NCR Corporation where he was responsible for establishing off-shore Enterprise Data Warehouse team in India and before that use to work for Sopra Steria in software development.


Kerry Kirkham, Sales Engineer
InterSystems
Kerry is a sales engineer at InterSystems and manages a number of key accounts across the healthcare, telecoms and government sectors, including Nortel, Grapevine Solutions, St. Vincent’s and Mater Hospital in Dublin and DIS, across Ireland. Kerry has extensive knowledge of Healthcare applications in the US, UK and Ireland. Since joining InterSystems in 2000, he has gained experience in a variety of countries, namely spending over three years in Houston, USA and Dublin, Ireland. Kerry works mainly with Caché, Ensemble and DeepSee and was instrumental in the replacement of Nortel’s Contact Center database with Caché, helping the company to evaluate their existing needs and to match this with their future progression.
Before joining InterSystems, Kerry worked as a developer for both SMS Ireland, and Grapevine Solutions, predominantly a healthcare consultancy. He also worked in research in Medical Physics in St James Hospital, Dublin .Kerry has a BSc in Physics from Loughborough University, UK .
Mark Massias, Senior Sales Engineer

Mark Massias is a Senior Sales Engineer at InterSystems in the UK and has been at InterSystems since 2002. Mark has worked extensively with InterSystems Application Partners to ensure they are making the most of the InterSystems solutions, with an emphasis in the area of analytics. More recently, Mark has been focused on Healthcare in the fields of integration, shared care records and analytics. Mark holds a PhD in Electronic Engineer from the University of Leeds, UK.


Jon Payne, Head of Sales Engineering
InterSystems
Jon Payne is the head of sales engineering at InterSystems, and has over 30 years experience building and delivering software in a variety of technologies, in Europe, the US, Middle East and Far East. Jon has extremely strong integration architecture skills. Initially working for the Health Service at the start of his career, as an analyst programmer, he held a number of positions in both the healthcare and financial arena – including running his own consultancy – before joining InterSystems.
Jon has played a key role in securing the technical side of the TIE and Datacentre deals with CSC and now manages this account, focusing on the large Ensemble projects they are currently undertaking in the Midlands and the North of England.
Kinshuk Rakshith, Sales Engineer

Kinshuk Rakshith is a sales engineer who has been working with InterSystems clients in a variety of industries for over three years. A software engineer with substantial experience, prior to InterSystems, he worked in healthcare research IT and the Silicon Valley electronics industry. Rakshith holds Master's degrees from the University of California, Davis and Northumbria University in Healthcare Informatics and Embedded Computer Systems Engineering respectively.


Gohkan Uluderya, Director Product Management
InterSystems
Gokhan Uluderya joined InterSystems in 2024 as the Head of Product for Data Platforms. He brings more than 20 years of experience in engineering and product management including executive leadership roles at Salesforce and Microsoft. Gokhan joined InterSystems from Salesforce where he was the GM and VP of Product for Salesforce Personalization and VP of Product in Commerce Cloud prior to that.
Before Salesforce, he spent close to 15 years at Microsoft spearheading cloud transformations as part of Dynamics, Office365, and Azure Machine Learning organizations. He also worked at Verizon Communications in Software/Systems Architect and Enterprise Architect roles. Gokhan holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from UT, Austin, and dual Bachelor Degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Tom Woodfin, Head of Development
InterSystems
Tom Woodfin heads development for InterSystems Data Platforms. A 20-year veteran of InterSystems and database technology development, he holds degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Dean Andrews, Head of Developer Relations, InterSystems
Dean Andrews is the Head of Developer Relations at InterSystems and an Advisory Board Member of the community non-profit HealthTech Build. Dean has been an engineer, product owner, developer evangelist, startup advisor, author, and MedTech consultant in his career. He works with industry leaders and startups in Healthcare, striving to help build innovative products and services that improve the world.
