InterSystems surveyed more than 300 senior business leaders on the key drivers of their innovation initiatives, and the challenges being faced to succeed:
- 74% agreed innovation is vital to their survival, remaining agile & futureproofing their organisation the biggest driver of innovation
but…
- 36% face budget constraints
- 35% lack the right skills
- 30% are risk averse to change
The impact?
- Just 11% of organisations have reached their digital transformation goals
- 86% rely on third-parties to plan, collaborate, and deliver innovation strategies
- And only 14% believe they’re ahead of the curve within their industry
